To enhance the efficiency and accuracy of marking open-ended questions and reduce manual workload, you can follow the steps below to enable AI marking.
1. Navigate to Admin > Marking settings in Examena.
2. In the Marking process tab, choose whether to enable AI marking for exams by default.
With AI marking enabled, markers can use AI marking when they mark scores for text content in candidates responses of Essay and File upload questions. For details about the AI marking usage, refer to How to leverage AI to mark scores for open-ended questions?.
*Note: AI marking relies on generative AI services and is subject to a monthly limit on AI token usage. The tenant owner or service admin of MaivenPoint Online Services can check the used AI tokens in MaivenPoint Online Services > Subscription management > Examena. For details, refer to Monitor your subscription usage.
To disable and hide the AI marking functionality for your tenant, you can contact MaivenPoint Technical Support for assistance.
3. Click Save to save changes.
