Set up a blended course without classes

First, find the course and create learning paths and sessions

1.   In Curricula, click Course on the left navigation pane. From the course card, the Course manager can easily distinguish blended courses and self-paced courses.

    A blended course has four steps to setup. A blended course with classes in it will have a class icon displayed on the course card.

    A self-paced courses have three steps to setup.

2.   Locates the course.

3.   Click the Configure button and start from step 1 – Configure structure.

4.   Click Structure settings to enable the learning path feature. Click Create learning path and fill in the learning path name to create a learning path. You can create multiple learning paths for a course.

5.   Click Create session, select Instructor-led session, and then fill in the session information. Configure the session time and assign a trainer to the session.

6.   Click Create session again. Select Self-paced session, and then fill in the session information.

7.   When finishing creating sessions, click Next.

Second, add and publish learning objects

1.   Locate a session, click the learning object type Reference material, fill in the reference material information, upload files as the reference material, and then configure the publish settings.

2.   When finishing the configurations, click Save and publish to save and publish the learning object to learners.

Third, enrol learners

1.   Click Manage learners.

2.   Click Enrol learners > Enrol learners.

3.   In the learner list, click Enrol learners. Click Add learner and add learners to the course.

*Note: If you don’t find the learners need to be enrolled to the course, navigate to MaivenPoint Online Services > Account management to add users first. For detailed instructions on adding users to MaivenPoint Online Services, refer to Add users to manage or use your MaivenPoint services. If you have no permissions to add users in MaivenPoint Online Services, contact the tenant owner or service admin for assistance.

4.   When finishing the learner enrolment, click Complete.
