How to mark and publish final course grades?

Course managers are responsible for marking final course grades for learners. After the learners have completed their tasks and the markers have finished the marking, course managers can mark final grades for learners. Let’s see how to mark and publish final course grades in Curricula.

Mark and publish final course grades.

1.   In Curricula, click Result on the left navigation pane, and then click Course results.

2.   Find the course and click Review and finalise.

3.   On the Review and finalise page, you can view tasks of each learner and check a learner’s task completion status by the process bar. In the lower-left corner of the page, you can view all learners’ overall task completion status, final grade marking status, and final grade publishing status as reference.

4.   The task scores and task completion status of each learner are displayed as references. By referring to this information, select a final grade for each learner. If necessary, you can also add comments for a learner. The grade and comments are automatically saved.

*Note: You can view the details of a learner’s tasks by navigating to Result > Tasks.

What if you want to mark final grades for all learners in batch? Click Export to export the Course_Grades file first. In the exported file, you can view learners’ task completion status and other information in the Learners’ Tasks (For Reference) sheet. By referring to the information in the sheet, you can mark final grades and add comments in the file, and then click Import to import the updated file. After the file is imported, the grades and comments will be updated accordingly.

After marking final grades for learners in this course, click Publish grades to learners. You can publish final grades of specific learners or publish final grades of all learners whose final grades have been marked. The learners will be able to view their final grades and the course manager’s comments when they check their course grades.
