How to display learning object grade to learners?

Course managers in an organisation can display grade of quiz or file submission learning objects to learners. Let’s see how to display learning object grade to learners in Curricula.

Create a score to grade mapping in the grade mapping bank

The course manager needs to prepare a score to grade mapping in advance. Let’s see how to create a score to grade mapping.

1.   Navigate to Bank > Grade mapping bank in Curricula.

2.   Click Create score to grade mapping.

3.   Fill in the mapping name and select a course code.

4.   Click Add mapping, enter the minimum score in the Score from column, enter the maximum score in the Score to (inclusive) column, and then enter the corresponding grade in the Grade column for the first mapping.

5.   You can click Add mapping to add and configure more mappings.

6.   When finishing the configuration for the score to grade mapping, click Save.

*Note: Make sure the minimum score in the last mapping is 0.

Add a score to grade mapping to a learning object and publish the learning object to learners

When the score to grade mapping is ready, you can add it to a quiz or file submission learning object. Let’s see how to add a core to grade mapping to a learning object and publish it to learners.

1.   In Curricula, click Course on the left navigation pane, and find the course.

2.   Click Configure and the course manager can see the learning paths that have been configured.

3.   Locate a session in a learning path and click the learning object type Quiz or File submission.

4.   Fill in the learning object information and turn on the Need to have score toggle.

5.   Select Grade in the Display score or grade to learners section and then select the score to grade mapping that has just been created.

6.   After configuring other settings, click Save and publish.
