Course managers in an organisation can add a quiz as a learning object. Now let’s see how to add the quiz in Curricula.
The course manager needs to prepare a quiz in advance. Let’s see how to create a quiz.
1. In Curricula, click Bank on the left navigation pane, and then click Quiz bank.
2. Click Create quiz.
3. Fill in the quiz name and select a course code.
4. Click Add a new question and add new questions one by one.
5. Click Add existing questions to choose existing questions to be added to this quiz.
6. You can also click Add smart questions to let AI generate questions.
7. In the Add smart questions panel, select a course. Reference materials of the selected course are selectable, and select one file as the question source. Select a question type, set the number of questions in this type, and click Generate.
8. After finishing adding questions, confirm that question marks have been set for each question.
9. Click the Advanced settings button of a specific question.
• Add the marking scheme to tell markers how to mark a specific question.
• Add feedback for the correct response and feedback for the wrong response to represent feedback when learners give the wrong answers.
10. Click Preview to see the quiz content in the learner view.
11. When finishing the configuration for the quiz, click Save.
When the quiz is ready, you can add it to a course. Let’s see how to add a quiz to a course and publish it to learners.
1. In Curricula, click Course on the left navigation pane, and locate the course.
2. Click Configure to open the Course configurations page.
3. Locate a session and click the learning object type Quiz.
4. Select the quiz that has just been created.
5. Fill in the instructions and assessment acknowledgement in the Instruction to learners field. With the instruction configured, learners must read the instructions and confirm the acknowledgement before they start answering the quiz.
6. To have answer explanations displayed to learners after learners complete the quiz and view response, select Display correct/model answers to learners.
7. After configuring other settings, click Save and publish.
